Embedding Continuity and Resilience

Company C has experienced some disruptive events over the last few months. Although they have a robust continuity and resilience programme in place, they have identified a gap in colleague knowledge about the programme and their understanding of the role they play to support a culture of resilience across the company.

How Rule28 can help…

Company C contacts Rule28 to discuss a programme of education for all colleagues, as well as training for colleagues who have additional continuity and resilience responsibilities. Rule28 recommends the following services to support the embedding of continuity and resilience across the company:-

    • A review of current processes to educate and inform colleagues, which could include:-
      • The design of an ‘all colleagues’ introduction training on continuity and resilience
      • The design of ‘key roles’ training for roles such as Incident Response Team members, Loggists, Key Third Party Relationship Owners etc.
    • Suggested wording updates to policies, standards and role profiles, to ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities.

How can these services help Company C?

  • Increased colleague awareness of continuity and resilience and why it is important to the organisation.

  • Improved response time and more effective decision making during incidents

  • Clearer objectives for colleagues regarding their role and responsibilities aligned to process and role profiles

  • A clear education plan, providing additional evidence and data regarding the embedding of continuity and resilience within the organisation
